As part of an integrated property solution for Bluescope Steel, we were tasked with sourcing a viable location in Western Sydney to meet Bluescope’s ongoing business growth.
In addition to identifying the optimum site, we also managed the ongoing design services to rationalise the concept planning and enhance efficiency and usage of the facility. This ensured the delivery of a premium building, one which not only met Bluescope's budget requirements, but also maintained flexibility and enabled the ongoing expansion of the facility.
The design and construction of the new Colourbond paintline building incorporates a 20,000sqm, high bay facility with a ridge line at 25m, which features the use of heavy duty gantry cranes and specialised equipment typical for this type of manufacturing, in addition to ancillary office buildings and associated hardstand.
