Hundreds of new jobs in first Walker premium office tower on Sunshine Coast

Queensland Deputy Premier Steven Miles said construction is powering ahead at Maroochydore City Centre.

Walker Corporation Chief Executive Officer David Gallant said 50 First Avenue will build on the growing sophistication of the Maroochydore City Centre.

Sunshine Coast Council Mayor Mark Jamieson welcomed the start of construction of what will be the newest neighbour to the state-of-the-art Sunshine Coast City Hall.

“50 First Avenue will introduce a next level standard of commercial office accommodation to the Maroochydore City Centre with outstanding sustainability credentials to match,” Mayor Jamieson said.

“Our development partner Walker has a proven track record in delivering outstanding precincts such as Parramatta Square and Collins Square and we look forward to seeing the completion of the first of many premium commercial projects in the Maroochydore City Centre.”

50 First Avenue will feature a grand lobby space with soaring ceilings, concierge and café with a panoramic rooftop providing stunning views of the beach and the hinterland.

The prime tower offers Premium A Grade office space with some of Maroochydore’s largest floors, measuring greater than 1000 sqm per level.

SunCentral Chair Morgan Parker said 50 First Avenue will add another dimension of class to the Sunshine Coast.
