“In 2 years, we have sold nearly 1100 homes with more than 75% of those finished or under construction,” Mr Walker said

“This is the biggest masterplanned community in South Australia and first impressions are always important which is why we have invested heavily in our prestige entry statement with large lakes, fountains and hundreds of palm trees.

“There is an undeniable link between great quality and a great community. We are big believers in setting a strong example for our neighbourhood because that street pride helps a community thrive in the long run”

Walker has spent over $25 million on the entry lakes and landscaping so far at Riverlea with over 40,000 plants maturing and 70,000m2 of turf laid - the equivalent of 4 Adelaide ovals.

Since the first sod was turned in February 2021, 800,000m3 of soil has been shifted at Riverlea.

Playford City Council Mayor Glenn Docherty helped cut the ribbon on the launch of the entry lakes and said he’s been proud to welcome so many new residents to the area.

Walker have confirmed Riverlea’s first retail centre, the new Palms Shopping Village will open in early 2024 putting quality supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, childcare, medical and wellness on the doorstep for residents.

There is a big focus on strong education for families, with four state and independent schools planned for Riverlea as well.

Driving into the city and beyond has been made easy with the new Northern Connector reducing a journey to just 25 minutes from Riverlea to the Adelaide CBD.

A healthy heart smart community is also a priority at Riverlea with sport facilities and ovals alongside 450 hectares of parkland and open space, with 50 hectares of lakes, surrounded by 42km of recreation trails with bike paths and running tracks – there is something for everyone.

New stages are being released in the coming months at Riverlea ahead of a new display world opening in May, featuring homes from some of South Australia’s most trusted builders.
