  1. Walker Corporation announces launch of $2 billion satellite city in South Australia

    Under a development agreement with the local owners, Walker plans to build the city on a 1,000 hectare site for more than 25,000 people at Buckland Park, located between Virginia and Port Gawler and on the banks of the Gawler River. Walker’s development plan includes the construction of 7,000 dwellings, a town centre, shopping and medical centres, community and library facilities, sports and recreation areas and a school.
