Overview
Sustainability, affordability and community are the three cornerstones of Banksia Grove. Bordered by nature reserves and protected bushland, the neighborhood incorporates native bush parklands, walking and cycling trails. The natural surroundings provide a setting for residents to enjoy the great outdoors at its best.
Eventually this 338 hectare community will comprise 3,300 home sites and house 12,000 residents, a childcare facility, shopping centre, three schools including a senior college with significant recreational sporting grounds, park and parklands with barbeques and amphitheatre, and 42 hectares of protected bushland surrounding the site.
To bring this vision to life, we partnered with the Western Australian Government through the department of Housing, and Perth based PRM Property Group, who we continue to collaborate with to construct home sites and facilities.
Our approach to deliver affordable housing in an integrated and sustainable, mini-town like neighbourhood offering a traditional outdoors lifestyle has underpinned the success of Banksia Grove. The focus on green development has seen us feature bio-diversity areas, water reduction technology and landscaping, as well as solar and energy efficiency GreenSmart homes.
Expected to be complete by 2020, 2,250 of the 3,300 home sites have sold to date.
Location
Situated in the city of Wanneroo, Banksia Grove is 27km North of Perth CBD, 9km from the coast and only 5km from Joondalup CBD. The Perth suburb is bordered by national parks, protected bush land and expansive lakes.
