Project Website

Located within the scenic region of Hunter Valley, Wallis Creek is a growing family oriented master planned community with the luxury of outdoors space.

Overview

We see the idyllic Hunter region of NSW as a desired lifestyle destination and relatively affordable area, renowned for its world famous vineyards, rolling hills, luxury golf and spa retreats.

In Wallis Creek we recognised the opportunity to create a family neighbourhood with over 400 home sites, priced attractively for the local community. The development is planned around carefully designed streetscapes and is centrally placed for easy access to a number of nearby CBD’s, including Maitland and Newcastle.

With roots dating back as early as 1820 the town of Maitland was originally known as the main importer in the Hunter region before coalmining became the main source of trade. Fast forward to the 21st century and the area is best known for its wineries and scenic landscape.

Upon completion, this 55 hectare site in Gillieston Heights will house over 1000 residents who will benefit from the park and outdoors space, future community centre, close proximity to schools, proposed onsite school and retail centre, and interconnecting network of cycle and walking paths. Combined with the convenience of two local city centres, Wallis Creek has already attracted many young families to the neighbourhood.

Many residents have relocated to the area in favour of the affordability, generous blocks of land and wide open outdoors space. Wallis Creek continues to grow at a rapid pace and now 95% sold, the community is expected to be complete in 2020.

Wallis Creek

Location

The community is located in the suburb of Gillieston Heights, in the historic town of Maitland. Located just 5km away, the new Hunter Expressway and Kurri Kurri interchange has significantly reduced travel times and improved residents commute from Wallis Creek into Newcastle, only 35 minutes away.
