ViewLeading organisations including Deloitte, KPMG, Westpac and NAB have established offices in the precinct, drawn by premium workspaces, access to one of the country’s fastest-growing talent pools, and the growth of Western Sydney’s booming economy.
The Parramatta Square precinct is setting a new national benchmark for workplace wellbeing, with 6 and 8 Parramatta Square now officially recognised as the largest buildings in the country to achieve the prestigious WELL Gold Certification.
WELL Certification is the global standard for measuring how buildings support human health, based on factors like air quality, lighting, mental wellbeing, movement and nutrition. Designed and delivered by Walker, the towers support leading employers across the public and private sectors to attract and retain talent through healthier, more people-focused workplaces.
NSW Minister for Lands and Property, The Hon. Stephen Kamper MP, said the certification demonstrates the value of smart people-first design.
“Parramatta CBD is going from strength to strength, and it’s great to see public servants enjoy the benefits of the world-class design standards that have been rightly recognised.”

Deloitte Western Sydney Office Managing Partner Abs Osseiran said he’s proud of the WELL Gold Certification as a key office tenant in Parramatta Square.
“Workplace demands have changed and Parramatta Square provides our people with a truly agile workplace that is adaptable to the opportunities of the future,” said Mr Osseiran.
“With its smart building technologies, design principles, and best practice environmental and sustainability standards, the building provides innovative and adaptable spaces, integrated tenant amenities, and access to public transport, retail and public spaces.”

KPMG Partner, Enterprise Kaylene Hubbard said Parramatta Square has allowed KPMG to grow its Western Sydney workforce.
“Having a strong Parramatta presence helps us attract the best talent to support the strong client demand we are seeing in greater western Sydney, as the region continues to grow and develop,” she said.
“KPMG runs one of the largest graduate programs in the country. Our Parramatta Square office makes it easier for our teams to commute and collaborate in the heart of Western Sydney.”
Walker Managing Director and CEO David Gallant said the recent WELL certification reflects the company’s commitment to long-term sustainability and quality.
“The Walker team is constantly applying the latest research and technology to our office towers to improve building performance and wellbeing outcomes, because the modern workplace needs to be flexible and adapt to the ever-changing needs of today’s workforce,” Mr Gallant said.
“Great workplace design attracts talent, builds culture and drives results, and quality time in the office is so important for helping young staff to grow and collaborate and learn within their teams.
“We’re proud to be delivering world leading WELL-rated precincts across the country, including Adelaide, Maroochydore, and Melbourne.
SVP & Head of APAC at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) Jack Noonan said, “Parramatta Square demonstrates how wellness principles can be applied on a major scale to create healthier, higher-performing places to work.”
“Walker and its tenants are working together to set a strong example for both the property industry and the wider business community, delivering future-ready spaces that promote wellbeing.”
According to IWBI, global demand for wellness-certified workplaces continues to grow. Since 2019, the number of locations registered under the WELL framework in Australia has increased from 3,300 to more than 50,000, with total registered space rising from 44 million to over 511 million square metres.
