6&8 Parramatta Square Wins the UDIA NSW & Coronation Award for Excellence in Commercial Development
Walker Corporation has been awarded the UDIA NSW & Coronation Award for Excellence in Commercial Development for 6&8 Parramatta Square, adding yet another accolade to the iconic mixed-use precinct.
The award recognises projects that demonstrate the highest design standards, premium amenity and sustainability inclusions across all NSW commercial development.
Walker executive chairman Lang Walker AO said the award is a testament to his team and consulting partners for completing one of the country’s largest and most complex urban regeneration projects.

At 55 storeys and 243 metres high, the tower combines state-of-the-art workplaces, expansive retail and 6,000 square metres of outdoor dining and green space to accommodate a range of private sector and government institutions.
The spacious lobbies connect with Parramatta Railway Station, and through to Westfield Shopping Centre via a retail activated pedestrian link servicing the adjacent Public Domain.
The project is the largest commercial building in Australia to achieve a 6 Star Green Star Office Design and As-Built Rating, encompassing a suite of sustainability features that surpass leading Sydney CBD towers and align to those achieved by preceding 3 and 4 Parramatta Square assets.
6&8 Parramatta Square marks the completion of the iconic 230,000 square metre development which boasts top-tier clients including Property and Development NSW, The Australian Taxation Office, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Westpac, Deloitte, Endeavour Energy and LG among its capacity of 40,000 tenants.
